I remember going to the store and searching through the clearance racks and adding up how much it would take from my clothing budget. I now coupon far more than my Mom ever imagined, and I am teaching her my new tricks. She is now saving more than ever! It really does pay off to teach your kids to be frugal and live on a budget. I am actualy able to stay at home full-time with my baby daughter because I can make my hubbie's paycheck stretch so far!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05298694196599151165noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8177750793442797931.post-3596482011759956832011-08-12T09:11:25.110-05:002011-08-12T09:11:25.110-05:00Wow, that is one smart cookie you're raising t...Wow, that is one smart cookie you're raising there!

I am always telling my hubby that I worry about my kiddo as he gets older. It's easy to be frugal with them birth-6 years old. But as they get older and want more and see more everywhere they go--wow. I can't even imagine how to quell that. I guess if they grow up with it then they become used to it?

I hope that is the case.Niki Jolenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12433264163042853577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8177750793442797931.post-56627302063284261972011-08-12T07:48:20.621-05:002011-08-12T07:48:20.621-05:00Love your post! He is still a young teenager and hates shopping, but I love the idea of giving a limit and making them in charge of keeping within it. I often wished as a teenager my mom would have let me do that. Thanks for your post.
HeatherHeatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06355446228984737130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8177750793442797931.post-48432341573116340492011-08-11T16:59:52.816-05:002011-08-11T16:59:52.816-05:00Dawww I'm so proud of you and Princess!
