A Bit Better Than I Thought

Last night, looking at the Publix ad, I just wasn't excited about the ad. However, given that today's penny item was the Greenwise TP, I decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and go to the store. It ended up a little better than I thought:

I spent $21.72, including tax, and "saved" $22.23. Not a bad trip all in all.

This is what I bought:

1 Kraft Velveeta Shells and Cheese
1 Kraft Sharp Cheddar Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese
1 Armour Italian Meatballs
3 packs Ramen Noodles
1 Tombstone Pizza
1 Publix Greenwise Toilet Paper (Penny Item! Woo hoo!)

Not what we'd call a well balanced shopping trip, but a good one to fill in some of the gaps in the pantry. And Princess Penelope will definitely be happy to see the italian influence in upcoming meals.
