A nice surprise in my inbox this morning. NOT. My Alagasco gas bill, which was my total budget buster last month, arrived. This time instead of $87 over budget, I'm $93 over budget. We wear fleece pullovers, scarves and other layers in the house. Our house is NOT super warm and toasty. The temperature is turned down when we are away from the house during the day. However, Mother Nature has blasted us with some ridiculously cold weather this year.
I mean, come ON, this is Alabama! If we have to endure ridiculously hot weather and humidity in July, can't we catch a break in January? Griping won't fix it though, so I guess it is back to some serious number crunching.
I need more coffee.
