Road Trip!

Today is the day! I woke up at 5:00 a.m. and we are preparing to hit the road. We are heading to Atlanta for Princess Penelope's big birthday present. We will go and see Britney Spears in concert tonight. Princess Penelope and her friend, Soccer Girl, are completely excited! We are getting on the road early even though our hotel check in time isn't until 3:00. We are going to go to the World of Coke Museum in Atlanta before we check in to our hotel. We've been to the museum twice before, when Princess Penelope was much younger. We loved it! I have a weakness for all things Coca-Cola so I'll have to really try to contain myself in the gift shop! Our admission to the museum is completely free. I saved the MyCokeRewards points for free admission. Lest you think I actually consume that much Coca-Cola, Soccer Girl's mom has been saving them for us too to help cover the cost of Soccer Girl's museum admission.

All in all, I'm pretty excited. This next 24 hours will cost me a pretty penny, but we have scrimped and saved for it. Princess Penelope even managed to save over $100 for her concert shirt and spending money! This is the only birthday present Princess Penelope will get this year and it will be the only "vacation" we take together. She still has a beach trip with her dad ahead of her, so she's all set for vacations this summer!

So we are off! Y'all have a great Sunday!

  1. Glasgow Airport is truly an airport for the masses. This enormous airport is highly accommodating to its guests, so much so that there are people that will fly only out of this airport also check airport transfer in glasgow and none other. With cheap direct flights to a whole raft of destinations including Paris, Stockholm and Toronto, many people enjoy flying from the Glasgow airport on their time off for holidays.
